Lori Alhadeff

Lori Alhadeff is the CEO and Co-Founder of Make Our Schools Safe, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting students and teachers in schools. After losing her daughter Alyssa in the tragic 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Lori became a national advocate for school safety, leading efforts to pass Alyssa’s Law across multiple states. She is also a former educator and a current elected School Board Member in Broward County, Florida. Lori empowers communities to be proactive in preventing violence through leadership, education, and legislation.
