Lana Tartre

Corporate FP&A and Finance Advisory
Born in Russia, I grew up a dedicated violinist from age 6, practicing 4-8 hours daily and eventually graduating with a music degree. However, discovering a passion for numbers and math redirected my career path from the stage to the corporate world. I rose to become the Director of Retail Sales for the Moscow region in Russia, overseeing 86 employees, before taking a leap of faith that brought me to the U.S. In 2000, I embarked on a life-changing journey from my homeland to the United States, fueled by the rare fortune of winning the Green Card lottery, and this pivotal moment marked the start of a new chapter, where I left behind everything familiar to pursue a brighter future.

Farewell executive suite, hello, a hotel golf cart. Despite initial language barriers, my determination saw me through intensive English courses, full-time work, and the TOEFL exam, leading to my acceptance at Pepperdine University's Graziadio Business School. There, I earned my B.S. in Management and later an MBA focusing on finance, proudly graduating as a Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society member. That same year, I proudly became a U.S. citizen. I embraced my new home and my new life.

Starting anew, I embraced every opportunity, from delivering room service at a luxury Southern California resort to building a fulfilling life and career as I joined the DLC chapter with Addison Consulting Group as a Finance and Accounting Consultant. I settled in Los Angeles with my husband and two rescue kitties, my cherished and disciplined remote coworkers at the home office. I was fortunate to have kind and supportive people who helped me in my journey, and I pledged to help those around me as I continue my odyssey through life.
